At BIRD DIVE CENTERS, your safety, comfort, and enjoyment are our top priorities. These General Terms, Conditions & Services are designed to ensure a smooth, transparent, and enjoyable scuba diving experience for all our guests. By booking with us, you agree to the following:
Dive Center Services

All diving activities are conducted in accordance with internationally recognized diving safety standards.

Certified divers must present a valid certification card before participating in any dive.

The dive center reserves the right to refuse participation to any diver deemed unfit to dive due to medical, safety, or behavioral concerns.

All divers are responsible for accurately declaring their dive experience, medical condition, and certification level.

Dive sites, schedules, and activities may be changed due to weather conditions, sea conditions, safety concerns, or operational reasons.
Payment Policy

Payments can be made via cash, bank transfer, or other accepted payment methods.

All prices are listed in [IDR] unless otherwise stated.

Any bank fees, transaction fees, or exchange rate differences are the responsibility of the customer.
Weather & Sea Conditions

Diving is subject to weather and sea conditions.

If conditions are unsafe, the dive center may change dive sites or cancel activities without prior notice.

Refunds or rescheduling will be offered only if the dive center cancels the activity entirely.
Insurance Recommendation

We strongly recommend that all certified divers have valid dive insurance covering scuba diving activities.

Insurance is not included unless clearly stated in the booking details.
Booking & Reservation Policy

All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by the dive center.

A deposit or full payment may be required to secure a booking.

Bookings are confirmed only after payment has been received.

Last-minute bookings may be subject to limited availability and operational constraints.

Group bookings and special packages may be subject to specific terms provided at the time of booking.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Customer Cancellation

Cancellations made [72 hours] before the scheduled activity are eligible for a full or partial refund, depending on the program booked.

Cancellations made less than [24 hours] before the activity, or no-shows, are non-refundable.

Course materials, certification fees, and third-party services are non-refundable once issued.
Dive Center Cancellation

If the dive center cancels due to weather, safety concerns, equipment issues, or unforeseen circumstances, customers may choose:

A rescheduled dive/activity, or
-
A refund for unused services.
No refunds will be given for dives or activities shortened or canceled due to diver behavior, late arrival, or failure to meet safety requirements.

Equipment Use, Damage, Loss & Responsibility

All rental equipment remains the property of the dive center.

Customers are responsible for using equipment properly and following staff instructions.

Any dive equipment that is lost, damaged, or broken due to misuse, negligence, or improper handling must be paid for by the customer.

Replacement or repair costs will be charged at market value or repair cost, whichever applies.

Normal wear and tear is excluded.
Medical Fitness & Liability

All participants must be medically fit to dive and may be required to complete a medical questionnaire.

If any medical condition exists, a valid medical clearance from a physician may be required.

Diving involves inherent risks. By participating, customers accept full responsibility for their actions and personal safety.

The dive center is not liable for injuries, accidents, loss of personal belongings, or damages beyond its legal responsibility.
